What does floor scabbling do?

While predominantly used for the removal of stains and marks and reduce levels in concrete, floor scabbling has a wide variety of uses and there are numerous surfaces on which this unique technique is ideal, especially when removing material that is in excess of 1mm thick.

Operating throughout the whole of the UK, we specialise in utilising the very latest floor scabbling equipment to;

How floor scabbling works

Featuring a system of loose flails that are mounted on a rotating drum, our floor scabbling machines hammer and scratch the required flooring surface to reduce the levels of concrete and screeds, as well as the stubborn toppings you often find on industrial and commercial flooring materials.

There are a few different flail types available, including;

• Tungsten carbide – suitable for the roughening and cleaning of concrete and asphalt
• Beam flails – ideal for the removal of paint
• Star flails – perfect for the removal of rust and scale
• Milling flails  - suitable for soft and hard grade floor materials
